Brutal Interior

This is the first phase of Excessive Studio 2013 Topic:" Keep it all inside", focus on the application of butchery skills to generate complex geometries. At the very beginning I chose Whale as my dissection material. Through series of cutting, splitting and grinding, the fundamental shapes have been generated. In the 2nd step there are three different assembling system: meat cable, interlocking and chained system, each one of them has different properties and structural behaviors. In the end all the forms are applied into the Excessive Studio remodeling as a exhibition room. The meat cable units works as the system furniture and exhibiting platform, the interlocking units functions as display wall, and the chained units was the medium to combine all the different components.
